| Attention to De-Tail Pet Sitting & Doggie Day Care Services |
In order for Attention to De-tail To provide the best possible service for you, your pets and all our clients, the following applies: Pets It is imperative that all pets be up-to-date on vaccinations. I will require a copy of these when booking dog park visits, but will not be required for standard in home care. This is for the safety of the pet sitter and for the safety of the other animals we care for. All pets must wear identification tags while in our care. Attention to De-Tail welcomes disabled pets and/or those needing extra special care. Back-up Sitter In the event of injury, illness, or other type of unavailability of your assigned pet sitter, another Attention to De-tail staff sitter will be assigned. It is our policy to ensure that your pets and home are never left unattended. Job Sharing Attention to De-Tail does not recommend or participate in job sharing. While we understand the financial benefit of having friends and family share the visits, our insurance policies do not cover job sharing. This is for your protection as well as ours. Keys During the initial consultation you'll give a working set of keys to your Sitter. Your key is left with the Sitter so she can come back for your next service. If you want a Attention to De-tail to arrange a separate pick up or drop off time for your keys there is a $10 fee each for time and travel. We are not responsible for keys mailed and don't recommend it. Please do not ask us to return keys by locking them inside the home on the final visit. If you request to have your key returned, we can at your request, leave your key with a trusted neighbor or in a safe hiding place outside the home. We must be able to access the home for continuing pet care if you are delayed in returning. Reservations It is highly recommended that you make your reservations well in advance to secure your required dates, especially during the busy holiday season. If you make any changes to your reservation, please do this via e-mail as well as phone call. Payment Payment is required at the time of reservation in order to secure your visits. You will be emailed a confirmation/invoice which will detail the upcoming visits and the amount due. I will accept cash, check, or Paypal. Holiday Cancellation Holiday cancellations made three weeks prior to first visit are refunded in full. Holiday cancellations made two weeks prior to first visit are 25% refundable for entire schedule. Were Baaaaaack! We require a courtesy call to let us know that you are home from your trip on your scheduled return day. We understand your plans may change and are very flexible if notified. If you return home early, please notify us immediately so that we can make adjustments to our route schedule. Regular day rates will still apply per original contract, but extra services will not be charged. Access to your Home by Others If customer allows any other person(s) access to their home during Attention to De-Tail's contract period, we cannot be held liable for any damages to property or pets as a result. Please notify us if someone will be in your home. Please also notify the person(s) in your home that Attention to De-Tail is coming so that your visitor, as well, is not surprised by our entrance. A visitor log will be provided for your records. Fences Fenced in yards are wonderful play spaces for pets, however, no fence system is totally secure for your pet’s safety. Attention to De-Tail does not accept responsibility or liability for any customer’s pets that escape, are injured, fatally or otherwise, or become lost when pets are left out or given access to a fenced in area. This includes electronic, wood, metal or any other fence types. Animal Emergency I authorize Attention to De-Tail Pet Sitting to transport my pet(s) to a veterinarian in the event of their illness or injury and authorize treatment deemed necessary by the veterinarian. In the event the pet is in need of hospitalization; Attention to De-Tail is authorized to leave the pet until the pet can be transported home. If at-home medication is prescribed, Attention to De-Tail has my permission to administer the directed dosage. If Attention to De-Tail incurs any medical expenses for the pet’s treatment, I will reimburse that amount plus transportation fees, as applicable. Unforeseen purchases: Any additional necessary costs such as food, litter, cleaning supplies or other necessary items that contribute to the health and well being of your pet will be purchased by Attention to De-Tail. We will retain a receipt and the customer will be responsible for reimbursement of these items. A $15 trip fee will be applied. |
